Which sim card with mobile internet in Italy in 2023?
Quite a few of us use the internet a lot during our Italian holidays. Sometimes, even for a short stay, an EU mobile data package is insufficient. This is where Vodafone steps in with a very favourable promotion for internet in Italy this year!
What size is the data package and where to buy it?
The current offer for the price of €30 gets you a sim card with 70GB of internet. It costs €20 to activate the starter, €10 for the data itself.
This is a very reasonable price compared to other operators who offer packages of merely 20GB for as much as €60. The package is valid for one month and you can renew it in the subsequent months for only €10 at practically any Italian kiosk.
This gives us a fantastic price (for Italy) of 10€ / 70GB of data!
In order to buy the sim card you need to have a physical ID card with you. You buy the sim card at any Vodafone store, the salesperson will definitely know what you’re looking for!
The starter activates 30-60 mins after purchase. After inserting it in your phone/router you will receive 3 text messages consecutively, after the 3rd text message the sim card is active and you can surf the internet!
